Kevin was born Sept. 14, 1960 in Rock Island, the son of Francis and JoAnn (Magrew) Santry. He graduated from Alleman High School in 1978. He was an Illinois State Scholar and National Honor Society inductee. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Accounting. He was an active alumnus and Omicron of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. His love for the Delts was strong. After graduation, he served the fraternity as a Northern Division Vice President and most recently worked with the current Executive Board guiding them on how to build the chapter’s success. After passing the C.P.A. exam, Kevin worked in Chicago for 35 years, including positions at Price Waterhouse, Senior Manager at Ernst & Young, Grant Thornton and CFO at The Second City. Currently, he was the proud Founder and CEO of Santry 360, a strategic business advisory firm with offices in Davenport and Chicago. Along with numerous other affiliations, Kevin was a member of the Illinois C.P.A. Society, former CEO of Midwest Manufacturing Business Coalition and a member of the Quad-City Chamber of Commerce.

No one lived life with more zest or passion than Kevin did. Whether he expressed an opinion, worked out, reveled in his Catholic faith or Irish heritage it was always all in, with 100% commitment. He was a man of deep, spiritual faith, believed in the power of prayer and trusted Christ with his salvation. Kevin was a “life-long learner” with an insatiable need for reading books. He was a well-spoken man with vast knowledge that was simply captivating. The way he filled a room with his boisterous, inclusive laugh and conversation was like no other. His charm, exuberance and Irish wit kept our hearts full of joy and laughter. Anyone who knew him knows that nothing ever stood in the way of the purest of love and devotion he showed to his family and friends. Especially his dear “momma”. His unwavering care and nurturing that he provided her daily is beyond words. Kevin truly lived by one of his favorite quotes- “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life out of what we give.” Heaven awaits you, Kevin.
