Was so very sorry when I opened up the paper and read of your Dads passing. We talked often on the phone & told him when we got back from Mayo Clinic, that we would come to see him. He was 'always so happy to talk to us. Your Dad and Mom were very special people to us and all of my family from the times in Taylor Ridge and Reynolds. I use to baby sit you in Reynolds. Your Mom loved him so deeply but still was able to say some pretty funny things about him when he irritated her! Please know that my thoughts are with you. I have been a Hospice Volunteer for Unity Point Hospice for many years and have had many patients. However, Ralph was special. For reasons unknown, we just seemed to hit it off. I felt honored to have been his Hospice volunteer. If I am ever lucky enough to get a hole-in-one, I hope it happens on Hole #17 at the Rock Island Arsenal Golf Club where Ralph got his hole-in-one. I'm so sorry to learn about Ralph's passing. It seemed obvious to me when I saw him at Brent's service that his heart was just broken after losing those that he loved so deeply. Ralph was always very kind and charming to me, a real class act. I'm sorry for the loss to your family.
