Ronald I. Moore

                Ronald I. Moore, 81, of Rock Island, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017 at his residence.

                Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island.  Visitation will be held from 5 PM to 7 PM on Monday, November 6, 2017 at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to Unity Point Hospice Care.

                Ronald was born on January 20, 1936 in Jacksonville, IL, the son of Irwin and Opal (Warcup) Moore.  He married Patricia “Pat” Greenan on February, 16, 1957 in Beardstown, IL.  Ronald worked as a supervisor in the foil mill at Alcoa.  He enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting and doing anything that involved his grandchildren. 

                Ronald is survived by his wife, Patricia Moore, Rock Island; children, Rhonda (Kenny) Lang, Rock Island, Brad (Patti) Moore, Yorktown, VA, Cindy Calloway, Rock Island, and Jim (Kim) Moore, Naperville, IL; grandchildren, Lindsay Calloway and friend Ron Tacey, Megan (Will) Harrell, Anne (Tony) Chesser, Ashley Moore, Andrew Ledford, Angie Ledford and friend Zack Vandenhout, Abbie Ledford and friend Jake Sharp, Daniel Moore, Erin Moore, Jessica (Clint) Algood, Adam Lang, and Kate (Josh) Orth; great granddaughter, Eva Marie Harrell; brother, Gary (Bonnie) Moore; several nieces and nephews; and special friends of the family, Jeff Calloway and Karen Gruen.  He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Eric Calloway; sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Harold Braner; and niece, Joanna Moore.
