Ronald "B" L. Calderone

 Ronald "B" L. Calderone, 57, of Sherrard, IL, passed away Saturday April 15, 2017 at Genesis Medical Center, Aledo, after a courageous battle against ALS.

 A Celebration of Ronald's Life for friends and family will be 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 22nd, at Preemption United Methodist Church, Preemption, IL. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will be accorded. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan, assisted the family with arrangements.  Ronald was born February 17, 1960 in Aledo, IL, a son of Rodney L. and Bonnie L. Spivey Calderone. He graduated from Sherrard High School in 1978. Ronald and Kristine "Kris" K. Ash were united in marriage on June 18, 1988 in Preemption.

 He was a lifelong farmer and member of Preemption United Methodist Church. He loved being on the farm, taking care of his family and tending his livestock.

 Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 28 years, Kris, of Sherrard; son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Kaitlyn Calderone, Sherrard; daughter and son-in-law, Paige and Zach Miller, Sherrard; grandchildren, Jordyn Leigh Calderone and Everly Bea Miller; parents, Rodney and Bonnie Calderone, Sherrard; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Tom Harris, Matherville; brother, Tom Calderone, Sherrard; sister and brother-in-law, Roxanne and Tom Kammerman, Milan; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; father-in-law, Richard Ash, Moline; mother-in-law, Connie Fritz, and her husband Jerry, St. Louis, MO; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kelli and Kevin Schwarz, Riverside, IA.

 Ronald was preceded in death by his grandparents.
