Sa Tosha J. (Quinn) Phillips

              Pastor Sa Tosha J. Phillips, 50, of Rock Island, passed away Monday, July 10, 2017 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. 

               Funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, July 14, 2017 at the Pentecostal Church of God, Davenport.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service.  Burial will be at Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport.  Memorials may be made to the family. 

               Sa Tosha was born on May 21, 1967 in Rock Island, the daughter of Elder Melvyn and Sandra Walton and LeRoy Quinn.  She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Rock Island School District.  Sa Tosha was one of the best cooks around and was known for her peach cobbler.  She loved to be around children, and took pride in studying the word of God. 

               Sa Tosha is survived by her parents, Elder Melvyn and Sandra Walton; daughters, Stacia (Novarro) Emery, Davenport, Janacia Clark, Chauncia Clark, and Dennicia Hickman, all of Rock Island; grandchildren, Ja' Nayah Clark and Isabella Emery; siblings, Stanton (Terra) Phillips, Melvyn R. (Tryphena) Walton, Jentri Walton, Michael Walton, Rhonda Quinn, Melvyn O. Walton, Willy Quinn, J.T. Quinn, Roy Quinn, Benny Quinn, Joyce Quinn, JoAnn Quinn, and Shonda Quinn.  She was preceded in death by her father, LeRoy Quinn; grandson, Ja'lleck Clark; and maternal grandparents, Griffin and Lillian Phillips.
