To Sharon's family -- Sharon's and my history goes back over 50 years and I feel so fortunate to have known her. On Sept 16, our 50th anniversary, I was looking through pictures and seeing Sharon as one of our bridesmaids made be think of some of the fun we had pre-wedding!!. Over the years we didn't always keep up with each other, but Christmas cards were exchanged each year.. A few years ago, at George O Bar school, we found each of us there to enjoy our own family member in the program. I said hi Bugsie and her passing reply was, I'm Sharon now . Then we found each other on Facebook and were able to keep up on new family members and her strength to deal with cancer. Our prayers and love for a life well lived (too short) and also for her family, the loves of her life!

I am so very sorry for the loss of you dear mother. I remember Sharon so well always so kind and happy. We were at Thomas Jefferson together back in the 70's and 80's. Those were wonderful times that I treasure. May God hold her in his loving arms and comfort all of you during this most difficult time. May you sleep in heavenly peace sweet Sharon.

Sharon was the sweetest, most courageous person I've ever met. She was family to us.....we will always remember our time's with her, & the long lasting friendship that we had. It hurts to see her go, but after her battle we know she is now in a better place. Rest in peace Sharon, we love you. Doug & Lisa

Sharon was a friend I knew from the Arsenal. But she was much more than that. She was an inspiration to me. You could say she fought cancer, but what she was really doing was living, being with her family and others and just living her life daily with such spirit and humor. Such an example for us all, for we do not know what tomorrow brings for each of us. I had a very complicated health history these past 2 1/2 years and was near death at least 3 times. I learned from Sharon to appreciate each day as a gift and to just live. She will be missed by so many, but I'm sure her family most who she lived for and held so dear. My sympathy to you all and to all who were lucky enough to know her and to have her in our lives. May God hold you in his/her loving arms through this difficult time.
