Frances E. Short, 67, of Milan, passed away February 18, 2016 at UPH-Trinity, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 11:30am Tuesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Visitation will be from 3:00-7:00pm Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rock island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Children's Therapy Center of the Quad Cities.
Frances was born on December 4, 1948 in Kingsport, TN, the daughter of Ewing and Lorena (Turner) Bledsoe.
She retired from Oscar Meyer, Davenport.
Frances loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, working puzzles and gardening.
Survivors include her sons and spouses, David and Lisa Short, Rock Island, Christopher and Andrea Short, Iowa City; grandchildren, Brittney, Shaila, Emily, Saylor, Molly, Brooklyn, Katie, Delilah; sister in law, Barbara Bledsoe, Tucson, AZ and 2 nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ewing and Lorena; a brother, Jerry.
