Abraham Isaiah Greer, 17 day old son of Justina and Greg Greer of Milan, went to heaven while in the arms of his family on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

A memorial service commemorating his life will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial to be established later.

Abraham was born on Sept. 22, 2014 in Iowa City, the son of Greg and Justina Harrison Greer.

Although his life here on earth was brief, his was a life that glorified God and touched thousands of lives. He was a fighter until his last breath and his sweet smile brought joy to many.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Justina and Greg; sister, Juliette; grandparents, Shannon and David VanZummeren, Aledo, Onofrio and Yoira Leone, Milan, Thomas and Jackie Bennett, Seaton, Ill., and Kevin Greer, Grinnell, Iowa; several loving grandparents and great-grandparents; aunts and uncles, James Greer, Sofia Leone, Tyler, Alexandra and Jett Bennett, Dylan Barnes, and Carter, Emily and Tobias VanZummeren; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
