Adam Staley, 45, of Riverton, Illinois, formerly of Rock Island passed away Monday February 17, 2025 at OSF St. James Hospital, Pontiac, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 PM on Sunday February 23, 2025 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Avenue, Rock Island. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to his children. Family and friends are invited to a memorial following the visitation at Mulkey's Restaurant, Rock Island, starting at 5pm. Adam was born on June 16, 1979 in Rock Island, the son of Terry Staley and Mary Sajak. He was a graduate of Rock Island High School in 1997. He married Megan Gallagher on September 10, 2011 in St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rock Island. Adam had been employed as a Jobsite Inspector with Direct Line, Bloomington for many years. Previously, he had been employed at Mulkey's Restaurant, Rock Island for 17 years. He enjoyed fishing, gaming, the Chicago Cubs, the Chicago Bears, and spending time with his family, especially his children. Survivors include his wife, Megan; children, Zander, KaeMarie and Ender; parents, Terry Staley and Mary Sajak; siblings, Joby, Shane and Jeff; and nephews, Gage, Jesse, and Nicholas.
