Albert Brasmer, 75, of Rock Island, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022, at UPH-Trinity, Rock Island.

Private services will be held and burial will be at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island.

Albert was born on October 20, 1946, in Cable, IL, the son of Daisy Brasmer.  He married Callie Henderson on December 21, 1970, in Rock Island.  Albert was a proud veteran of the US Army.  He retired from the USPS in 2016 after 21 years of working as a maintenance mechanic, MPE.  Prior to the USPS, he worked for: Farmall International Harvestor, Malco, Bear Manufacturing and IBP.  Albert was a kind and generous man, and loved spending quality time with his family.   He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, and was said to be a "Jack of all trades."

Albert is survived by his wife Callie Brasmer; children, Aaron Brasmer, Virginia Beach, VA, Jeff (Donna) Brasmer, Rock Island, Cynthia Brasmer, Rock Island, and Jennifer (Terrence) Roberts, Madison, AL; grandchildren, Justin Brasmer, Kyle Taylor, Thomas Springer, Brittany Roberts, Tristan Roberts, and Trenton Roberts; 2 great grandchildren, Avery and Arianna Brasmer; sister, Judy (Earl) Blaylock, Holiday, FL; and 4 nephews.   He was preceded in death by his mother, Daisy Brasmer; father; brother, Edward Brasmer; and 2 nephews.
