Obituary
Albert D. DeBrobander, 75, of Moline, died Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at his home.
At his request his body has been cremated and there are no public services. Inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family. Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.
Albert Dean DeBrobander was born on Dec. 25, 1943 in Rock Island, a son of Albert E. and Betty Jane Dean DeBrobander.
He had been a cab driver for Lucky Cab and also worked as a laborer in the Quad City area.
Albert enjoyed watching football and loved dogs.
Survivors include his sons, Brent (Nancy) DeBrobander, Collinsville, Ill., and Brian DeBrobander, Rock Island; grandson, Richard (Meggan) DeBrobander, Collinsville; great granddaughter, Gemma Grace DeBrobander; sisters, Judith Callen, Moline and Sharon Wakeland, Milan; and his aunt, Sally Stromer Carbis, Rock Island. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marilyn Weaver.
