Albert F. Holevoet, 77, of Milan, passed away Thursday April 25, 2019 at Generations Rehabilitation and Nursing, Rock Island.

Visitation will be Tuesday April 30, 2019 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Wheelan Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan.

Memorials may be left in Alberts name to Andalusia Fire Protection District, St Matthew Lutheran Church, Milan and Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.

Albert was born on December 23, 1941 in Geneseo, IL, the son of Al and Betty Jean (Hadaway) Holevoet. He married Rita Hutchinson on June 10, 1961.

He had been employed at John Deere Parts, Milan for 30 years.

Albert was a member of St Matthews Lutheran Church, Milan, UAW and had been active as a Boy Scout Leader with Troop 325 in Port Byron. He loved country music, dancing, gardening and traveling with Rita to Nashville, TN.

Survivors include his wife, Rita; sons, Corey Holevoet and Garth Holevoet; grandchildren, Morgan and Zeb; siblings, Donna (Mike) Taylor, Hawaii and Marie (Chris) Howson, New Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Alan.
