Albert L. Ramsey, Jr., 56, of Moline, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 in Rock Island.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 20th, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 -7th Ave., Rock Island, with visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be made to True Temple Church, Davenport.

Albert was born September 3, 1961 in Chicago, IL, a son of Albert L., Sr. and  Jearline Harris Ramsey. He married his longtime companion, Donna J. Henderson Clay on December 6, 2017 in Rock Island. She unexpectedly passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017.

He was employed with City Carton Recycling, Davenport.

Albert was a member of True Temple Church, Davenport. He was an avid sports fan, especially baseball. He enjoyed caring for his pet dog "Avenue".

Left to cherish his memory are his brothers and sisters, Louise (Tony) Ramsey, East Moline, Jerry (Denise) Ramsey, Arizona, Larry (Laura) Ramsey, Texas, Tyson (Demetre) Ramsey, Illinois, Remona Ramsey, Illinois, Anthony Harris, Mississippi, Rena Ramsey, Illinois, Regina (Stacy) Ramsey, Illinois; a host of nieces and nephews; stepchildren, Ada, Eileen, Shirley, Raymond and Donald; and special friend and caregiver, Anthony Lucas.

Albert was preceded in death by his father; mother; stepmother, Alma Ree Ramsey; and his sister, Lizzie Ramsey; and stepdaughter, Helen Denise.
