Alberta D. "Bert" McNeeley, 59, of Rock Island, went home to see her Lord on Sunday, February 25, 2018.  Services for Bert will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Bert was born on January 16, 1959 in Peoria, the daughter of Archie and Thelma (Gishkim) Wheeler.  She was later adopted by Ralph and Theda (Carter) McNeeley.  Bert worked at Oscar Meyer/Kraft for over 20 years before her illness.  She loved spending time with those close to her, fishing, gardening and traveling.

She is survived by her friend and caretaker, Paula Tingley; close friends, Lori McBride and Rob Tingley; special son, Andrew Tingley; special grandchild, Tatum Tingley; father figure/mentor, Irv; 2 brothers; 1 cousin; many friends at Kraft and her beloved canine companion, Gabriel.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
