Obituary
Alexander C. "Gamma" Ford Jr., 21, of Rock Island, died Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Trinity Rock Island.Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island, with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial is at Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport.
He was born Nov. 4, 1992 in Davenport, a son of Alexander C. Ford Sr. and Sylvia Eddings Bullock.
Survivors include his father, Alexander Sr.; son, Alexander C. Ford III; brothers, Algerron Goldsmith, Demarko Holt; sisters, Asiaeona Eddings, Aireona Eddings, Sarita Goldsmith and Shayron Goldsmith; grandfather, Sylvester Eddings; grandmothers, Shirley Hearn and Beverly Hall; step-grandparents, Algerron Sr. and Yolanda Goldsmith; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins; and may friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia.
