November 6, 1990 – February 5, 2015
Alison Rose Maiden, 24, of DeWitt, IA, passed away Thursday February 5,
2015 at Genesis Medical Center, DeWitt.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00pm Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church,
Davenport. Visitation will be from 3:00pm to service time Friday at the
church. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island is in charge of
arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to St. Paul
Lutheran Church or DAC Dayhab Recreation Fund.
Alison was born on November 6, 1990 in Cedar Rapids, IA, the daughter
of Gary and Patricia (Harding) Maiden.
She had currently been employed at DAC Industries, DeWitt.
Alison was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Davenport, where she
ushered. She had participated in the Special Olympics and was a member
of the Truth Singers. Alison will be remembered for her love of twenty-dollar bills, purses, and mail trucks, and her ability to befriend everyone she met.
Survivors include her parents, Gary and Patricia Maiden, Bettendorf;
sister, Emily Maiden (Mike Reinholdt), Bettendorf; grandparents, Donald
and Sharon Harding, Bettendorf; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and
countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Paul and
DeLoris Maiden and her maternal great-grandmother Elsa Carlson. Alison's family would like to express their gratitude to the many wonderful people who loved and supported her throughout her life.
