Angela A. (Cook) Carter, 65, of Rock Island, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at her home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family. Memorials may be made to the family. Angela was born on April 29, 1952 in Rock Island. She married Moses Carter in Rock Island. He preceded her in death. Angela was certified nursing assistant working in various nursing homes in the Quad Cities. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, music, collecting angels and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Dawn Cook, Rock Island, Jermaine Carter, Sandstone, MN.; five grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Timothy Gwynn, Chicago; and best friends, Pearl Clay and Gwen Salton.
