Anna Regina Drescher, age 97, of Davenport, passed away peacefully October 12, 2022. Funeral services will be held at St. John Vianney Church, Bettendorf on Saturday, October 22, 2022, with visitation at 9:30 am at the church and Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. A luncheon will follow. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Good Neighbor Ministries, Sisters of St. Joseph, Mission Advancement Office, 3700 E. Lincoln, Wichita, Kansas, 67218-2099.

The former Anna Regina Dougherty, was born on August 29, 1925, in Wichita, Kansas, to Raymond and Anna (Ternes) Dougherty.  She graduated from Cathedral High School and Wichita Business College.  She married George J. Drescher in Oakland, California, on July 14, 1947, while he was in the Naval Reserve.  She cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Regina was Treasurer of St. Mary's Altar Society and Board Member and President of Millerbrook Condo Association.  She enjoyed using her computer, working crossword puzzles and cooking and baking.

Anna Regina is survived by a daughter Susan Drescher-Blakely, San Antonio, TX and sons Stephen (Sharon) Drescher High Point, NC, Daniel (Barbara) Drescher Bettendorf, IA and Drs. David (Kathleen) Drescher Avon, CO.  She had nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George Drescher, sisters Frances Frigo, Sister Maureen, CSJ, Rose Marie Dougherty and brother Raymond Dougherty.  Her sister Patricia Bolte resides in Lincoln, NE.
