Anna I. Apirina, 94, of Moline, passed away Tuesday October 15, 2019 at Genesis-Illini Campus, Silvis.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 17 at Hebrew Cemetery, Rock Island. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Anna Isaakovna Kanevskaya was born January 9, 1925 in Yahotyn, Ukraine, a daughter of Isaac Kanevskiy and Raisa Kaganovich. She married Boris S Apirine in November of 1953 in Ukraine. He preceded her in death on October 29, 1998.

She was an engineer and worked in manufacturing for many years. She loved her family and home.

Surviving are his daughter, Svetlana Henderson, Moline; son, Vitali Apirine, Moline; and granddaughter, Anna Henderson, Champaign, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister.
