Annie Lou Morrison, 79, died peacefully on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, with her family surrounding her. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug 22, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 7th Ave, Rock Island, with burial following at Chippianock Cemetery in Rock Island. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Memorials may be made in care of the family.

She was born Feb 14, 1935 in Hughes Ark., to Bernice and Oscar Harris, and had 10 brothers and sisters.

Annie was married to Jesse Morrison in Arkansas in 1953. She had 12 children; Oscar "Sunshine" (Cloria) Morrison, Justine(Woody) Brodnax, Dorothy "Dottie" Liggins, Della (John) Bril, John "Harvey" Morrison, Wendy Morrison, Sandy Morrison, Joanne Morrison, Adrian Morrison, and Tyrone Morrison.

In addition Annie has 33 loving grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, too numerous to record everyone's name here.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Charles, Oscar, and Violet Harris, Rose McKenny and Dorothy Radyon, daughter Ida Stewart, son Jerry Morrison, and great-great-grandson Jeremiah Morrison.
