Annie Fay Phillips, 82, of Rock Island, died Friday, July 22, 2022 at River Crossing, Moline. A funeral service will be 12:00 pm (Noon) on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Pentecostal Church of God, 1234 N Riley Street Davenport, Iowa 52803.  Visitation will be Saturday from 11 am until service time at church. A private burial will take place at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be made in care of the family. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, is assisting the family.

Annie was born in Halls, Tennessee on March 1, 1940, daughter of Eddie Jr. and Fannie Midgett Williams.  She married Porter Phillips on May 2, 1975 in Rock Island.  He preceded her in death in 1982.

Annie worked as a machinist for Case IH and later as a CNA.  She enjoyed taking computer classes at the Martin Luther King Center in Rock Island and singing.  She also loved fishing.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Phyliss Phillips, Jasper (Lynn) Williams, Jereen (Marques) Hardin and Jeffrey Phillips; a host of grand and great-grandchildren; and siblings and in-laws, Esther Williams, Joe (Gloria Dean) Williams, David (Hattie) Williams, Robert Jarrett, Gloria Willams, Sam Cooper, and Robbin (Herbert) Williams.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings, Roy C. Williams, Goldie Mae Williams, Georgia Mae & Richard Theriault, Eddie Mae Jarrett, Eddie Williams Jr., Joyce Ann & Monroe Hobson, Ora Cooper, Ernest Williams, and Elizabeth Williams.
