IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anthony T.
Harvey
October 17, 1969 – January 7, 2018
Anthony Tyrone Harvey was born October 17, 1969 to John and Patricia Ann Harvey at St. Anthony's hospital in Rock Island, Il. He attended school in the Rock Island school district and finished with his GED from Joilet job corp.
Anthony met his soul mate Cynthia Benjamin while they attended grade school together in the late 80's. They found their way back to each other at tragic times in both of their lives where they both needed someone. They have a beautiful daughter Brittani Benjamin.
In 1994 they moved to Atlanta, Georgia where Anthony made a wonderful life for his family. Anthony and Cynthia were married on September 1, 2001. Anthony had a loving warm spirit and loved to entertain. His laid back suave demeanor drew people to him. He loved to have parties at his home. The weekends consisted of music playing (very loud) and Anthony on the patio grilling. He had mastered cooking baby back ribs.
Anthony worked for National Church Residences for several years. There he started as a Service Technician and worked his way up to the Sevice Manager at Big Bethel, a senior citizen apartment community. He loved his job, he really enjoyed talking and helping the seniors. He always said that they had so much knowledge and history.
Anthony was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin. He loved his family and most of all he always made sure they knew he loved them dearly.
Anthony is survived by his wife Cynthia Benjamin-Harvey; daughter Brittani Benjamin; sisters Trishon Harvey, Tammy Harvey, Jeanna Robinson, Louisa Robinson, Gina Bain; Brothers John Harvey and Daryl Colvin; Father John Lester Harvey; Grandmother Mildred Taggart; special niece Patrese Harvey; aunts, uncles and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
