Anthony X. White, 56, of Rock Island entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at UnityPoint Health Trinity, Rock Island.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave, Milan. The service will be live-streamed and can be viewed by visiting the following link, www.wheelanpressly.com/milan-live-stream. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be left in care of the family.

Anthony was born August 7, 1966 in Chicago, IL, the son of Marvin White and Patricia Cross. He graduated from LA High School in 1984. Anthony married Margaret Taylor on March 28, 2006. He worked as a assembler and forklift driver for Quad City Freight. Previously, he worked for Brandt Construction in Milan.

Anthony's hobbies included cooking, bowling, and playing horseshoes. He had a great sense of humor and was always willing to help others.

Those left to cherish Anthony's memory include his wife, Margaret; children, Jasmine White and Jalise White Angel; stepchildren, Treanna Russell, LaShunda Mangrum, and Shamell Mangrum; grandchildren, Aniya, Adon, Talise, Anadia, Narya, Mya, Jeremiah, and EIi; siblings; Desiree Ecter, Phillip Rollins, Victoria Rollins, Chandra White, Joel Thomas, Mignon Rollins, and Antricia Rollins; mother in law, Ula Mangrum; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin White Sr.; Mother, Patricia Cross; brothers, Gregory Rollins and Marvin White; and sister, Natasha White.
