Antoinette "Toni" M. Girt, 70, of Lewistown, Illinois, formerly of Milan, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 3, 2022 at her home.  Visitation will be from 4-6 pm Friday, January 7, 2022 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Avenue, Milan.  Cremation rites to follow.  Memorials may be made in care of the family to establish an education fund for Toni's grandchildren.

Toni was born in Peoria, Illinois on December 15, 1951, a daughter of Albert and Leonora Johnson DeFrieze.  She married Raymond Girt II on September 29, 1972.  They celebrated 41 years of marriage before he passed in 2013.  Together, they had four children, Christina, Dusty, Stacey and Raymie.

Toni enjoyed crafting, embroidery, taking pictures, spending time with Ron and most of all, she absolutely loved her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish and carry on her memory include her partner, Ron Vaugh, Lewistown, Ill.; children, Christina (Mike) Harrum, Phoenix, Ariz., Dusty (Josh) Freisinger, Moline, Ill., Stacey McCarthy, Rock Island and Raymond Girt III; grandchildren, Jonathan, Kelcee, Madison, Kyle, Logan, Keegan, Hudson, Kylin, Kailie, Xaiden, Natalie and Ava; and brother, Allen (Erin) DeFrieze.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
