Antonia "Pat" Vincent, 66, of Rock Island, died Friday, April 22, 2022 at home surrounded by family. Visitation will be from 2:30 – 5:30 pm Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Avenue, Rock Island. A celebration of life will follow from 6-8 pm at the Rock Island Moose Lodge. Burial will be private at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Davenport. Memorials may be made in care of the Sacred Heart Food Pantry, Rock Island.
Antonia was born in Rock Island, Illinois on July 26, 1955, a daughter of Jesus and Michaela Morales Díaz. She married Bernard Vincent at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rock Island, on May 12, 1979.
Antonia was a licensed beautician who worked 35 years as a hairdresser for various beauty shops. She also worked 15 years at K-Mart and six years as the program coordinator for Southwest Rock Island Township.
Antonia was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rock Island, and the Eagles Club and Euchre card club. She loved the Rock Island Labor Day Parade and spent 37 years on the labor day committee. She enjoyed playing board games, dancing, listening to music and was an avid life-long Cubs fan.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Bernard Vincent, Rock Island; children, Jeffery (Courtney) Vincent, Murphysboro, Ill., Michaela Vincent, Rock Island and Maria (Kory) Kerkhoff, Conway, Mo.; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Marcus, Scott, Kian, Rylee, Xavier and Dominic; siblings, Jesse (Carrol) Díaz, Summerfield, Fla., Anna Marie Díaz, Grace (Jerry) Shirk, Caroline (Keith) Quick, David Díaz and Kaye Whitley, all of Rock Island; Godson, Benjamin Quick; Goddaughter, Heather Diaz and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Charles, Albert and Mary Antoinette Díaz and mother-in-law, Rosealie Vincent.
