Audree A. Saunders, 75, of Milan, died Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at UnityPoint Health – Trinity, Rock Island.  Cremation rites accorded.  A celebration of life gathering will be Monday from 5-7 pm at the Milan American Legion.  Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan, is assisting the family.

Audree was born on June 8, 1943 in Tyler, Minn., a daughter of Joseph D. and Lillian V. DeWall Peter.

Audree worked several jobs over the years and last worked for Susie's Ceramics in Milan.

She enjoyed bowling, fishing and watching football.  She was a diehard Minnesota Vikings fan.  Audree loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Shannon Grunewald, Milan, Shawn (Scott Wymer) Dean, Davenport and Michelle (Mike) Darin, Huntersville, N.C.; grandchildren, Brandon Saunders, Chad (Danielle) Setser, Seth Armstrong and Kelsey Reese; great-grandchildren, Marilyn Armstrong, Aaron Saunders, Aleah Armstrong and Abigail Setser; and brother, Robert (Judy) Peter, Ortonville, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her parents and best friend, Lanita Gowdy.
