Barbara Daniels, 94, of Milan, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2016 at her home.  Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 4th Ave E., Milan.  The holy Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. and visitation will follow from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.  Memorials may be made in care of the family.

Barbara was born on July 15, 1921 in Garrison, North Dakota, a daughter of Raymond and Elizabeth Phliger Fix.  She married Robert Daniels on November 5, 1939 in Garrison, North Dakota.  He died on June 4, 1999.  Barbara worked in Housekeeping at the former Franciscan Hospital for over 15 years.

Barbara was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan.  She enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening and crafting.  She cherished and savored all of the time she spent with her family.  Barbara had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Janice Bundy and Judy Melchi, Milan; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren; and sisters, Elizabeth Peterson and Marie Kurtz; as well as many other loving family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, Sr.; sons, Robert, Jr. and Rodney; her parents; brothers, Joe, Barney, Antone, Mike and Alex Fix; sister, Annie Kuhn and grandson, Marvin Bundy, Jr.
