Barbara L. Freese , 64, of Milan, IL, passed away Saturday August 7, 2021 at home.

In accordance with her wishes, no services are planned at this time. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Barbara was born July 14, 1957 in Moline, Illinois, a daughter of James G. and Donna L. (Stambach) Freese. She graduated from Rock Island High School.

She was a cafeteria manager for 36 years with the Rock Island/Milan School District.

Surviving are her sisters, Debra Birrell, Milan, and Sandra Hansen, Carbon Cliff, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Linda  Barrigar; nephew, Cory Peterson; and brothers-in-law, Robert Birrell and Mark Hansen.
