Barbara Jean Heimann, 78, Minneapolis, MN passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis. There will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, Rock Island.

Barb was born on December 13, 1947 to Laurence and Barbara (Habr) Heimann in Rock Island, IL. She graduated from Alleman High School and then attended St. Mary's University in Winona, MN. After graduation, she worked at Kraft Foods in Chicago. She later relocated to Minneapolis and began her career at ING Insurance.

Barb loved to travel. Her favorite destinations were London and Paris. She loved the British countryside. In her spare time, she could be found with a book. A voracious reader, who enjoyed books of many genres. To honor her love of reading, memorials may be made to your local library.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Laurence "Larry" Heimann. Barb is survived by several cousins.
