Barbara L. Lundberg, 89, of Venice, Florida, formerly of Rock Island, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016 in Venice.  Cremation rites have been accorded and a visitation in Barbara's memory will be held on Friday, July 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island.  Memorials may be made in care of the Quad City Animal Welfare Center

Barbara was born on September 3, 1926 in Bartlesville, OK and was raised by Raymond and Katherine Davis.  She married Arlo Gene Lundberg.  He preceded her in death on October 5, 2014.  In her early years, Barbara worked as a nurse at Moline Public Hospital.  For the past 17 years, Barbara had been a resident of Venice, Florida.

Barbara greatly enjoyed needlepoint, playing bridge and golf, including a hole-in-one.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jay (Laura) and Byron (Gina); grandchildren, Angela Costello and Joe, Alex and Abby Lundberg; great grandchildren, Ben, Olivia and Charlotte and brothers, Dean Glen and Lynn Davis

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arlo and a sister, Adelle
