Barbara A. Peters, 85, of Rock Island, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Generations, Rock Island. Memorial services for Barbara will be postponed until a later date. Inurnment will be in the Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be made to Gilda's Club of the Quad Cities.

Barbara was born on October 5, 1934 in Iowa City, Iowa, a daughter of Samuel and Mina (Albertson) Agy. She married Lloyd Peters on July 21, 1955. He preceded her in death on February 16, 2001. Barbara worked in the customer service department at Royal Neighbors of America, Rock Island until her retirement. She was a member of Fifteenth Avenue Christian Church, Rock Island and The King's Daughters. She volunteered at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island, and at the Friendship Manor Store. Barbara enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Lynn Giesler, Rock Island, and Lisa Schultz, Rock Island; grandchildren, Katarina, Abby, Joshua, and Timothy; six great grandchildren; and a sister, Linda Hill, Brown Deer, Wisconsin.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd; siblings, Robert Agy, Samuel Agy, Judy Handley, Janice Rios and an infant sister, Wanda Sue Agy.
