Barbara N. Walton, 91, of Rock Island, passed away Monday, October 26, 2026 at Friendship Manor.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 2, 2026 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030-7th Avenue, Rock Island with visitation from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Grace Presbyterian Church.

Barbara was born December 7, 1934 in Rock Island, the daughter of Herbert and Dorothy (Jinks) Wright. She married Robert Walton on June 1, 1934 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death in 1998.

Barbara retired from Royal Neighbors of America after 51 years. She was a former member, Elder and Deacon of Good Shepard Presbyterian Church where she also helped in the youth group for 50 years.

Survivors include her brother, William (Cheryl) Wright, Grand Junction, CO and their sons, Gregory and Jeff; sister, Janice (Van) Baugh, Kennewick, WA and their children, Sue Ann and Jaeger and her God given family, Sysom and Kathy Young, Rock Island and their children, Brandon, Chyna and Taya. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Wright.
