Barbara Helene Herzberg, 82, of Scottsdale, Arizona, formerly of Rock Island, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the Eckstein Center in Scottsdale surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on September 30, 1942, in Marshalltown, Iowa, Barbara was the beloved daughter of Morris and Jesse Hoffman Wiss. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, remembered for her unwavering loyalty, warm affection, and generous heart.

Barbara was married to Donald Herzberg, who preceded her in death. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and enduring memories in Bettendorf, Iowa and Maui, Hawaii—a legacy that continues to inspire all who knew them.

She is survived by her loving children: Michele Herzberg, David Herzberg (Carey Herzberg), and James Herzberg (Michelle Herzberg); and her four beloved grandchildren: Daley Herzberg (Keri Peterson), Sage Kriss (Shane Kriss), Drew Herzberg, and Molly Herzberg, and her sisters-in-law Sheri Olsen and Phyllis Herzberg.

She was preceded in death by husband, parents, brother, Craig Olsen and brother-in-law, Sidney Herzberg.

A graveside service to honor Barbara's life will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 12:30 PM at the Hebrew Cemetery, 2715 30th Street in Rock Island, Illinois. The family welcomes all who knew Barbara to join in celebrating her life and the beautiful memories she leaves behind.
