Beatrice "Bea" Mueller, 99, of Longmont, CO., formerly of Rock Island, passed away Sunday May 21, 2017 at  her home in Colorado.

Funeral services will be 11:00am on Wednesday May 31, 2017 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00-7:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery.

Bea was born on March 4, 1918 in Vinton, IA, the daughter of William and Grace Nichols. She married Harold George Mueller on February 13, 1949 in Vinton, IA. Prior to her marriage she worked in a library, Collins Radio and as a telephone operator. She was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Mueller was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rock Island for 54 years before moving to Colorado. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, reading, plants and flowers, animals and traveling.

Survivors include her daughters, Vickie Perez, Longmont, CO., Lisa Ackerland, Rock Island; grandchildren, Jason(Melanie) Perez, Denver, CO, Nicole Perez, Longmont, Co., Zachary (Tracey)Williams, Moline,  Anthony (Ashley)Williams, Rock Island, Marc (Angela) Williams, Rock Island; great grandchildren, Lorna, Alex, Aaron, Marc Jr. and Maverick. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; parents, William and Grace; and brother, Charles.
