Ben L. Mitchell, 46, of Rock Island, passed away Monday April 22, 2024, at UnityPoint Heath – Trinity, Rock Island.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory Rock Island, IL, with the funeral to immediately follow. Memorials may be made in care of the family.

Ben was born October 5, 1977, in Moline, the son of Ben Malone and Ella Mae Orr. He loved music, spending time with his family, and talking with people.

Those left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Tanja Mitchell, Joyce Orr, and Rick (TC) Mitchell; and a host of step-sibling, nieces, nephews, and other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Prentice Orr.
