Obituary
Bernadine "Bernie" Scadden, 79, of Rock Island, passed away Wednesday November 14, 2018 at UPH-Trinity, Rock Island.
Per her request there will be no services.
Bernadine was born on August 13, 1939 Strawberry Point, IA., the daughter of Clemet Deeny and Anna Johnson.
She had been a legal secretary at several law offices in the Quad City area.
Bernie loved her family, especially her grandchildren, walking by the river and at SouthPark Mall.
Survivors include her children, Connie (Steve) Abernathy, Mike (Lisa) Scadden, all of Rock Island; grandchildren, Erin (Tony) Brooks, Kelly (Mitch) Salek, Jessie Scadden; great grandchildren, Ian, Ivy, Nora and Clara; siblings, Karen Wold, Tom Deeny and Rita Tschiggfrie.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Margaret Kendall.
