Betty June Agy, 93, of East Moline, Illinois passed away Friday, November 28, 2025, at Hope Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation, East Moline.

A memorial visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2025, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Avenue, Rock Island, Illinois, with a service to follow at 12:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice or a favorite charity in Betty's memory.

Betty was born on June 19, 1932, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Povey) Dagenais. She graduated from Sault Ste. Marie High School in 1950. In her early years, Betty worked as a beautician and enjoyed participating in a local bowling league and playing billiards. She loved growing up in the Soo and carried fond memories of her time there throughout her life.

Betty especially loved cats and always had one by her side. An avid cribbage player, she took great joy in playing with her family. Betty also had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening.

Known for her quick wit and warm sense of humor, Betty brought joy to those around her. Above all, she treasured being a grandmother and spending time with her family, who will forever remember her with love.

Those left to cherish Betty's memory include her children, Terry (Susan) Davison, Larry (Diane) Davison, and Julie (Darren) Miller; grandchildren, Ryan Davison, Cory (Haley) Davison, and Michelle Agy-Schultz; and 3 great-grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Gary Agy.

Betty's family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff at Hope Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation for their care and kindness over the past few years.
