Obituary
Betty M. Vinzant, 75, of Rock Island, died Thursday, September 20, 2018 at OSF St. Frances Medical Center, Peoria. There will be no services. Memorials may be made in care of the Arthritis Foundation or Susan G. Komen.
Betty was born on September 23, 1942 in Rock Island and raised by Walter L. Sr. and Helen True Harkert. She married Kenneth Vinzant on November 29, 1963 in Rock Island.
Betty is survived by those she loved most, her family. They include her husband, Kenneth Vinzant, Rock Island; and siblings, Charles (Brenda) Glancey, Tenn. and Michael (Sue) Harkert, Mont.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Shirley Irene Curtiss and brother, Walter L. Harkert Jr.
