Betty Little, 90 years old, passed on January 26, 2021. She passed at home with her husband by her side.

A private family service will be held at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Private burial will follow in Rock Island National Cemetery.

Betty was born on March 31, 1930 in Tokyo, Japan. In Japan, she met William K Little, whom she married on July 15, 1957. During her 90 years, she witnessed WWII, lived in two countries, enjoyed 63 years of marriage, raised two children, adopted and loved many dogs and cats, and utterly adored her four grandchildren. She enjoyed fitness, gardening, and surrounding herself with beautiful things. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Tomekichi and Kei Karino.  Survived by her husband, Bill; two children, Dorothy Brooks (Tim) and Marshall Little (Rhonda), and four grandchildren, Steve Osborne (Sheena) and Brent Osborne (Sadie), Samantha Gaten, and Minao Little.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials made be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center where they adopted their most recent family member, Gracie.
