Betty J. McKinley, 90, of Rock Island, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018 at Generations at Rock Island.  Services for Betty will be 12:00 Noon Friday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7 ^th Ave., Rock Island.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

Betty was born on April 12, 1928 in Rock Island, a daughter of Harry and Ruth (Pouder) Scott.  She married Robert J. McKinley on April 12, 1946 in Rock Island.  He preceded her in death.  Betty worked at the former Geifman Food Stores as a meat cutter for over 18 years.  She loved spending time with her family and playing bingo.

Left to cherish Betty's memory are her children, Gary and Vicki McKinley, Colona; Kandi McKinley- Martin, Woodstock, Ill. and Michael (Madonna) McKinley, Rock Island; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and a sister, Marjorie Gass, Silvis. Also surviving are many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; daughters, Sharon Jaster and Melody McKinley; son, Sidney McKinley; sister, Wanda Thomas and brothers, Herbert and Leslie Scott.
