Betty M. Taylor , 88, of Rock Island, passed away September 27, 2021 at UnityPoint-Trinity, Rock Island.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island.

Betty was born August 12, 1933 in Rock Island. She married Paul A. "Bones" Taylor on December 5, 1953 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on March 25, 1996.

She graduated from John Deere Business School. In earlier years, she worked at Deere & Co., then was a homemaker, wife and mother.

Betty was a member of Two Rivers United Methodist Church, Rock Island, and Kings Daughters. She was active in Rainbow Girls, Grand Cross of Colors and masonic work from her youth.

Surviving are her brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Kathleen Beyer, of Plainfield, IL; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Theresa and John Beyer, husband, Paul and son, Terry "Mike" Taylor.
