Betty L. Williams, 82, of East Moline formally of Rock Island, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023, at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis.

Private services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the family.

Betty was born on August 9, 1940, in Chicago, IL. a daughter of George Graves (Kewanee, IL.) and Ruth Bridgeford (Paris, MO.).

Ruth later married Thomas Cruz Fernandez (Mexico City, MX.)

Betty married Ray Williams (Tylertown, MS.) in September 1961, in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on December 20, 2013.

Mrs. Williams retired from John Deere as an administrative secretary in 1990.

Survivors include her son, Ray T. Williams Sr., Moline IL; grandchildren, Ray T. Willams Jr., Cedar Rapids, IA., Devin (Mike) Cremer, Batavia, IL., and Daria Marion, Rock Island; and 10 great grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Ray.
