Beverly J. Johnson, 86, of Moline, died Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at her home.

A Memorial Service will be held at Noon on Monday at Salem Lutheran Church, Moline.   Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the church.  Inurnment will be at the National Cemetery, Arsenal Island.  Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family.  Memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church or to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.

Beverly Bardoel was born June 10, 1931 in Moline, a daughter of Oscar and Margaret DeWispelaere Bardoel.  She married Milton R. Johnson on May 2, 1953 in Ascension Chapel at Augustana College, Rock Island.

Beverly graduated from St. Mary's High School, Moline in 1949.  She had worked as a secretary for the Nixalite Company of America, East Moline and previously at J.I. Case Co., Rock Island.

She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, Milton; sons, M. Dean (Carol) Johnson, Bettendorf and Dennis (Pamela) Johnson, St. Louis, Mo.; daughter, Cheryl (Joe) Withers, East Moline; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
