Beverly Maxine (Bartlett) Casey, age 79, of Rock Island passed away on July 25, 2023, surrounded by her family at Silver Cross Pavilion at Friendship Manor, Rock Island.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, July 31st, 2023, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, with a rosary to be recited at 3:30 pm. Entombment will be in Calvary Mausoleum, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to NAMI Greater Mississippi Valley.

Beverly was born on December 26, 1943, in Moline, IL, daughter of Iris (Maxine) and John Bartlett. She married James M. Casey on September 4, 1971.  He preceded her in death on June 14, 2023.

Beverly worked as a secretary for Bituminous Insurance Company until she married James, and they started their family. Beverly enjoyed volunteering, playing cards with friends, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Those left to cherish Beverly's memory include her son Brian (Jennifer) Casey and daughters, Anna Casey-Crouch (Matt) and Kathleen Hanna (Tim), her grandchildren, Sean and McLean Casey and Eliza, Lily and James Hanna, her siblings Howard Bartlett (Beth) and Holly Lindell (Tom) and several nieces and nephews.

Beverly was proceeded in death by her spouse, her parents, and brother, Clyde Bartlett.
