Beverly J. Gosney, 77, of Milan, passed away on April 15, 2015 at her home. Memorial services will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, April 21st at Westside Assembly of God, Davenport. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at church. Memorials may be made in care of Westside Assembly of God. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan is assisting the family.
Beverly Joan Abraham was born on July 4, 1937 in East Moline, the daughter of Ernest and Grace Cockley Abraham. She married Eldon H. Gosney in 1953 in Shelbinda, MO. He died on April 20, 2001.
Bev was a homemaker, mother of 2 and a foster parent of over 29 children over the years. She greatly enjoyed caring for others and sending greeting cards to anyone who may appreciate one.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Randy Gosney, Milan and Karen (Joe) Lopez, Fillmore, CA; grandchildren, Melinda (LeRoy) Morrow, Centralia, MO, Rebecca (George) Long, Silverton, WA and Kimberly Strader, Fillmore, CA; 6 great grandchildren; and a brother, Richard (Sally) Abraham, East Moline.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 2 brothers, Terry and Bill Abraham.
