Beverly "Bev" J. (Samuelson) Wilson was born June 11, 1929, in Moline, the daughter of Herbert and Bernice (Hultgren) Samuelson. She married Fred W. Wilson on March 24, 1957, in Osco.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Grace Church PC (USA). The service will follow at 11:00am at the church. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made in the care of the family to establish a memorial donation.

Beverly attended Osco schools and graduated from Orion High School in 1947. She then attended the former Moline Public Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1950. She worked as a nurse for the public hospital, then as a private duty nurse. In 1979, she became the assistant manager of the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center, retiring in 1999.

Beverly was a member of Grace Church PC (USA) in Rock Island. She held a lifetime membership to the PTA of America. She also belonged to the former Florence J Liebbe Circle of the Kings Daughters.

Those left to cherish Beverly's memory are her daughters, Becky (Ray) Mayfield, Rock Island, and Carrie (Richard) Wilson, Tampa, FL; grandsons, Sean Wolking, Rock Island and Alex Wolking, Chicago; granddaughters, Bethany and Angelica Topper, Tampa, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
