Beverly Ann (Kearney) Gahagan, 72 of Moline, formerly of Rock Island, passed away Saturday June 7, 2025 at OSF, Rockford, with her daughters by her side.

A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday June 17, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rock Island. Private inurnment will be held at a later date in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport.

Beverly was born on June 11, 1952 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of John and Evelyn (Swanson) Kearney. She was a graduate of St. Ambrose University. Beverly married Tom Gahagan on June 26, 1976 in Davenport. He preceded her in death in 1993.

Beverly had retired from MidAmerican Energy Company. Previously she had been employed at Eagle Country Market.

Beverly was a devoted mother and grandmother, she loved spending time with family and traveling.

Survivors include her daughters, Cassie (Rob) Holt, St Louis, Missouri, Kayla (Kyle) Jones, Orion; beloved grandchildren, Hunter, Libby Kate, Patrick, Auggie, Mira; sisters, Carol (Bob) Behnke, Sandra (Jim) Stulir, Diana Sutton; brothers, Jack (Mary Lynn) Kearney, Steve Kearney; 80 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; parents, John and Evelyn Kearney; grand baby Holt; sister, Nancy (Kelly) Ambrose; brother in law, Gary Sutton and nephew, Mike Stulir.
