Bobbie J. Atwater, 80, Rock Island, IL passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025 at Allure of the Quad Cities.  No services are planned at this time.

Bobbie was born along with her twin brother on April 17, 1945 to Major and Mayola (Wafer) Glass in Homer, Louisiana. She grew up in Louisiana and later moved to the Quad Cities.

Bobbie and Raymond Brown had two children, Tina and Raymond Glass. She later married James Atwater and they had a daughter, Bernice.

Bobbie loved watching westerns and court TV shows.

She is survived by her children, Tina (Kevin) Lewis, Raymond Glass, and Bernice (Cornell Veasey Sr.) Atwater Veasey; four grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Geneva Harper, Clarice Glass, Lorene Gore, and Rosa Marie Grigsby; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Louise Graham, Bobby Joe Glass, Curtis Glass, Walter Glass, and Troy Glass.
