Bobby "Bob" E. Mattingly, 70, of Taylor Ridge, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Allure of Moline.

Per Bob's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be left in care of the family.

Bob was born on December 25, 1954 in Harrisburg, IL, a son of Jack and Flora (Pyles) Mattingly. He worked as a mechanic for his entire career.

Bob's hobbies included woodworking and watching Westerns. He was an avid Saints fan. Bob was a very caring and loving father and grandfather. He cherished the time he got to spend with family.

Those left to cherish Bob's memory include his children, Josh (Amber) Mattingly, Joey Mattingly, Jeremy (Tanya) Mattingly and Brittany (Trey) Bobbitt; six grandchildren; and siblings, Peggy, John, Garry, Kenny, Eddy and Dennis.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerry.
