Bonnie L. Ewing, 76, of Andalusia, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at St. Anthony's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Rock Island.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at the Lions Club in Andalusia. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund, 4340 E. 53rd St., Davenport, IA 52807. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan is helping family with funeral arrangements.

Bonnie was born February 21, 1938, in Rock Island, the daughter of Warren C. and Grace A. (McCauley) Lindell. She retired from H.J. Hines as a Quality Control Specialist. Bonnie liked cooking, baking, watching movies, and was like a mother to all the neighborhood children.

Bonnie will be remembered by her children Lorie (Stephen) Costello of Vancouver, WA, Thomas R. Ewing of Andalusia, IL, Michael Ewing of Moline, IL, Scott Ewing of Taylor Ridge, IL, Timothy (Dianne) Ewing of Milan, IL, and Kelley (Lynn) Jackson of Andalusia, IL; her grandchildren, Autumn, Brandon, Cody, Samantha, Dominic, Mekenna, Michael, Sarah, Justine, Brandi, Thomas, and Pyper; her great-grandchild Jade; her sister Lois Coleman; her two brothers Bill and Dan Lindell; her friend and father of her children Thomas H. Ewing and friend Janet Ortiz; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Larry Lindell.
